Black women are 40% more likely to die of breast cancer than white women. Karen Eubanks Jackson has spent more than 30 years working to change that.

A four-time breast cancer survivor, Karen is founder and CEO of Sisters Network® Inc., a national African American breast cancer survivorship organization. She joins Dr. Greg Hall to discuss why early detection saves lives, how survivor-led chapters across the country support Black women through diagnosis and treatment, and why breaking the silence around breast cancer in the Black community matters.

Karen received the ASCO Patient Advocate Award and is the author of In the Company of My Sisters.
